We implement customized solutions for clients’ needs in the fields of IoT and Industry 4.0 / 5.0. We have developed high-performance solutions in the Automotive, Food Industry, and Energy Management sectors.

We support companies in the Manufacturing & Industrial sector through a dedicated Business Unit that possesses all the necessary skills to analyze, design, implement, and integrate IT solutions for businesses in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. We offer a complete service to our clients: starting with a detailed analysis, we design and develop customized technological solutions and provide continuous support for implementation, use, and maintenance of the solutions.

Our services
  • Real-time data acquisition from field sensors, using standard industrial protocols such as OPC/UA, MODBUS, RAW TCP.
  • Bidirectional data integration via SQL and NOSQL databases.
  • Development of hybrid architectures, On Premise and/or Cloud, on third-party Cloud or custom Cloud managed by clients.
  • Design and development of Hardware and Software solutions based on industrial standards and OpenSource or Custom software (developed by BETACOM).
  • Installation and configuration of BETACOM products on On Premise and/or Cloud infrastructures (third-party or client-owned). These products can always be modified and customized upon request.
Some of our developed products:
  • Way: A programmable, multi-platform gateway capable of being dynamically configured to acquire heterogeneous data from various data sources, manipulate the data with programmable dynamic logic, and send and store processed data to heterogeneous destination channels (Database, PLC, external APIs, Actuators).
  • WBC: Touch Software for Visual Control for Process Quality Control. It allows visual assessment of production defects through integration with line sensors, cameras, and PLCs. The acquired data is saved in a Database and sent to the line hardware to implement dynamic process logic.
  • Andon: Full-screen visualizer for data captured from production lines or external sources (sensors, databases, or custom devices). The displayed data is dynamically manipulated to implement formulas and calculations useful for production processes. The calculated and visualized data is stored in a Database for report generation.
  • 3A: IoT and Traceability solution useful for detecting production anomalies in real time, allowing line operators to take charge and resolve blocking anomalies using Wearable devices, Tablets, and full-screen Touch Visual Control Web interfaces.
  • Report: Web software for generating reports based on IoT (or Traceability) data collected from the field. The reports, built using SQL language, can be viewed via Web and exported as images or tabular reports.
  • Track: Data acquisition, traceability, and reporting software in the Food sector, based on custom hardware and software solutions developed by us, used to collect production data from sensors and electronic scales.

We also offer an Agritech competence center that designs and develops technological solutions dedicated to companies in the Agrifood sector.

In the Agritech field, we have designed several innovative solutions dedicated to end-users in the sector, with scientific collaboration from some of the most important Italian Universities and Research Centers. Among these are the CNR (National Research Council) and the University of La Sapienza, who collaborate with us on several projects that have won innovation grants, including:

  • iNEST: INWASTE – Traceability and Artificial Intelligence for Olive Growing
